First look image of Liam Neeson in the Robert Lorenz helmed action thriller In the Land of Saints and Sinners.

First footage to be shown in Cannes by sales company Bleiberg/Dimbort

 

Facing East today released the first look image of stars Liam Neeson (Taken, Star Wars Phantom Menace, The Grey) and Ciarán Hinds (Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, Belfast) in the Robert Lorenz helmed action thriller In the Land of Saints and Sinners.

 

Facing East Producers Markus Barmettler and Philip Lee commented “As we enter our fourth week of photography, we are so excited to release these first look images, one of Liam and Ciarán together on our beautiful location here in County Donegal and one of Liam on set.”

 

The feature film is currently shooting on location in County Donegal, Republic of Ireland with Robert Lorenz (The Marksman, Trouble With The Curve) directing. The screenplay was penned by Mark Michael McNally and Terry Loane. Irish talents Ciarán Hinds (Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, Belfast), Kerry Condon (Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri; Avengers: Endgame, The Banshees of Inisherin) and Jack Gleeson (Game of Thrones, Out of Her Mind) also star.

 

In the Land of Saints and Sinners is set in a remote Irish village, where a newly retired assassin finds himself drawn into a lethal game of cat and mouse with a trio of vengeful terrorists.

 

Bleiberg/Dimbort has already completed sales on In the Land of Saints and Sinners in most territories and they are looking to finalise international sales during the upcoming Marché du Film (May 17-25 2022). Exclusive first footage of the film will be shown at the Bleiberg/Dimbort booth at Riviera G1 in the Palais des Festivals. CAA Media Finance and UTA Independent Film Group are co-representing US domestic rights.

 

The film is produced by Markus Barmettler, Philip Lee, Bonnie Timmermann, Geraldine Hughes and Terry Loane (Prodigal Films Limited). Executive producers include Kieran Corrigan, Ehud Bleiberg, Danny Dimbort, Nicholas Bennett, Victor Hadida, Marc Jacobson, Robert Lorenz, Adrian Grabe, Daniel Fluri and Marcel Gloor.
