2016 Call for Entries!

You’ve made your movie—now it’s time to show the world!

The Dam Short Film Festival is now accepting submissions for the 2016 season. Films of any style and genre with a total run time of 40 minutes or less are eligible. Submission categories include Drama, Documentary, Animation, Student, Nevada Filmmaker, Sci-Fi/Horror, and Comedy.

Already sporting some of the lowest submission fees going, the Dam Short Film Festival has reduced submission fees across-the-board this year making it even easier to submit. In addition, students receive an additional $5 break, and entries in the Nevada Filmmaker category are free!

In addition, we’re proud to announce that our festival is now accepting submissions on FilmFreeway! We’re excited about this new submissions platform, and as always we’re still accepting submissions through Withoutabox.

This season’s deadlines and fees:

$20 – Super-Earlybird: April 20, 2015
$25 – Earlybird: June 15, 2015
$30 – Regular: September 20, 2015
$35 – Late: November 24, 2015

Submissions in the Student Category receive a $5 discount.
Submissions in the Nevada Filmmaker Category - FREE!

The Dam Short Film Festival Selection Committee is chomping at the bit to see your film. Don’t make them wait–submit early and save!
