"Dear Mountainfilm Family,

With coronavirus (COVID-19) making headlines over the past few weeks, we wanted to let you know that Mountainfilm is moving forward as planned. 

While the current risk in Colorado remains low, we are closely monitoring health officials’ recommendations and carefully considering options with attendee safety as a top priority. We are working diligently to ensure that Mountainfilm will continue to be a safe and healthy environment for all attendees.

Additionally, at the festival this year, please consider replacing the typical handshake with the gesture of Namaste or air fives when greeting others. The Namaste gesture is said to express honor, courtesy, politeness, hospitality and gratitude to the other person. Air fives are just cool.

Mountainfilm will follow the guidance of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the World Health Organization and our local health authorities. Should the situation change, we will send news right away. We hope to see you all in May, we have a fantastic festival planned for you.
