Cine Las Americas presents EMERGENCIA,

Cine Las Americas presents EMERGENCIA, its annual youth film competition, on Saturday, April 22 at the Millennium Youth Entertainment Complex.

Saturday’s event will begin at 12 PM with a free short film competition for filmmakers no older than nineteen years of age. Participants of the Cine Las Americas after-school program at Johnston High School produce, judge, market, and organize this event. This opportunity allows students to determine which films best reflect the views of their generation. The result is a program full of engaging and meaningful work.

At 3 PM, free screenings of short films for youth will be shown, and at 5 PM will begin the free program of short films for the entire family.

All screenings include English Subtitles.
