The festival, organized by Solaris Pictures and Bombay Dost, intends to showcase and support films with gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and queer themes, relevant to Indian and Indian Diaspora. We welcome films / videos of any length and in any language made after 2007. All films must be subtitled in English. Selection will be made by an eminent jury of both film professionals and Indian queer community leaders. There are competitive sections with awards for Best Feature, Best Short and Best Documentary. Bravo!
Queer Film Festivals are opportunities for all people - to enrich their sensitivity to people of all sexual orientations and this...thru the medium of film - the impact is strong.
We NEED to take it further into our daily lives and affect the people with whom we live, work and play. Thanks to the organizers.
Thanks Ivan
Thanks John for your very encouraging words.
