Films in the most varied genres and different lengths (SHORT FILMS, MICRO FILMS and FEATURE FILMS) are the soul of this award, which focuses on finding and showcasing the best of the best. This is a space for those who believe in independent cinema as a way of expressing art. A platform to showcase your production and demonstrate your talent to the whole world. We believe in the true power of ideas and creativity. It is from this place that the word "best" comes from. So, it is not only a space that showcases large budgets and prioritizes huge productions. What counts here is soul, and the heart that beats within each film.

All the films are watched by our jury of respected professionals in the international film, advertising, and marketing worlds. They follow pre-established criteria to determine which films stand out in their categories and deserve recognition. The idea of the award is to showcase those who put effort, creativity, and hard work into productions. It does not matter if it is a low-cost independent film, a project by a first-time director, or a prestigious award-winning production, at OTB we want to empower all those who are creating art and looking for a way to spread it around the world. The idea is to inspire and be inspired, helping to build new careers and consolidate those that already exist.

All the films are given the same attention and care and each month we announce the official selections, the finalists, and the winners. The winners can be recognized in three different sections: “Only the Best Awards,” the main award, in addition to the “Jury Awards” and “Honorable Mentions” - awards for productions that deserve to be recognized and were very close to the greatest achievement. Every month, if the jury reaches a consensus that there was a film that stood out in an extraordinary way among all those entered, the film gets a special award: the “Best of The Month.” All the jury’s decisions are final. We do not disclose the votes and jury scores.
