The 11th Athens ANIMFEST - International Animation Festival opens to Animation fans again this year at the Greek Film Archive. With a 7 day program full of shorts and feature animations, we respond to animators from around the world willing either to compete or to screen their movies in the parallel special events of our festival.

* In Ancient Olympic Games all the winners were crowned by the judges with a wreath of a wild olive tree which was called "cotinos". This olive tree was behind the Τemple of Zeus in Olympia.
