AVIFF eagerly seeks short and feature films of all genres and formats for its 12th annual festival. Experimental films encouraged. All films will be screened in their original formats. All int’l screener formats accepted.

Anti-Anti-Fest is a festival showcasing short films in any medium except film. This is the third Anti-Film Festival. This event will also include a salon for anti-digital (film), and anti-moving image (still photography), making it an “Anti-Anti-Fest.”

Appalachian Film Festival, Open to residents: WV, OH, KY, NY, PA, MD, VA, NC, SC, TN, AL, & MS. Awards for "Best Film," "Best Doc," "Best Short," "Best Young Filmmaker`s," "Best Music Video" & "Best Screenplay." 23 Films screened for Jury.
Somerset Community College’s Harriette Simpson Arnow Conference will hold its first Appalachian Film Festival as a part of its 2018 conference. The fest is now accepting submission for consideration.
The fest will consider films under 30 minutes in length for inclusion into the Conference film fest. The Conference will take place on Friday and Saturday, April 6th and 7th, 2018. Screening of the official selections will take place on SCC’s campus on Stoner Little Theatre’s “big screen.” There is no submission fee.
All films from filmmakers who reside in the Appalachian states of Kentucky, Tennessee, New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio, West Virginia, Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama and Mississippi will be considered. The fest will accept films of any genre including documentaries and animated shorts. While submissions focusing on the Appalachian experience are encouraged, it is not required for entry.
Filmmakers wishing to submit a film for consideration may do so by completing the form its instruction located at the link below.
The deadline for entries is February 9, 2018. The official selections for the fest will be announced on March 9, 2018.

Applebox Film Festival is the location! We are north of Fargo, west of the Twin Cities, south of Winnipeg and east of the middle of nowhere! All entry fees are going towards prize money!

The Arab Film Festival is held annually in Dearborn at the Arab American National Museum. The Arab American National Museum’s Arab Film Festival seeks to enhance public knowledge and understanding of Arab Americans by: presenting alternative representations of Arab life; increasing the exposure of Arab and Arab American filmmakers; and providing a forum for the discussion of questions raised by films during the festival.
