The AsoloArtFilmFestival is an international showcase. The Festival is made up of six sections: 1.Films on Art 2.Artist’s Biographies 3.Films on Architecture & Design 4.Videoart & Computer Art 5.Productions by Schools of Cinema 6.Harmony and Territory.
With an emphasis on independent productions from around the world, Aspen Filmfest champions filmmaking at its finest: new features and documentaries, as well as unique presentations, special events, and family films.
Filmmakers from around the world compete for significant cash prizes. In recent years, several Aspen Shortsfest award-winners have garnered Oscar awards or nominations. Widely recognized as one of the world`s premiere showcases for short film.
The Boys & Girls Club Aspiring Filmmakers Festival (BGCAFF), was created to showcase films by young filmmakers (21 and under) from across the country.
the movies and the performers that more than others represent the values of dialogue and solidarity among men and people will be awarded with the TAU prize 2005. Jury presided by the famous Italian director Pupi Avati.
Over 70 films will be screened during the 6-day festival – giving the Kazakh people, producers, distributors, selectors of other major film festivals and foreign journalists the possibility of discoveringthe best of contemporary Central Asian cinema.
The competition programme will include full-length feature films produced in 2007/2008 in Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan.
International Festival of SEE Film Authors
We are proud to present the first annual Astoria/LIC International Film Festival in Astoria/LIC, New York. The festival will run from October 22 to October 24, 2010. The festival strives to promote an open and nurturing environment for artists, writers, actors, filmmakers and fans, and focuses on offering great networking opportunities for its participants. The ATA Film & Video Festival is dedicated to celebrate and support underground film exhibiting every year 2 original ensembles of shorts by emerging and established film and video artists. The festival also includes installations, a lunch for the filmmakers and a discussion forum. Throughout the year, work from the festival is broadcast on ATV, ATA's weekly cable-access television show, and screened in other national and international venues.
