Film Festivals
Accepting entries in all categories, including Animation, Short Drama, Experimental, Feature, Documentary, Outdoor, Commercial, Audio and Scriptwriting. Official Selections and past favorites will be shown at the Courtyard Gallery and other Asheville, NC venues. *Deadline for 2012 is March 31st (postmarked) and April 30th extended deadline (postmarked).Last Deadline is May 15th (received)
Festival takes place in the River Arts District of Asheville, NC at the Phil Mechanics Building, 109 Robets, May 25th, 26th and 27th.
Possible publication by the Black Mountain Press for screenplays!
This October will see the launch of a new eight-week long digital arts festival, twonotten.
The festival will highlight the growing number of contemporary artists using digital technology
Two days of screenings, workshops, competitions and events. Two Short Nights short film festival will showcase some of the most exciting and diverse short films from the UK and abroad.

The 8th Two Short Nights Film Festival is set to showcase some of
the most exciting and diverse short films from the UK and abroad. This
year, the much anticipated Phoenix Media bursary films
will again be premiered on the Saturday night as well as the two new
Devon County Council, UK Film Council and South West Screen supported Digital Shorts, which will be premiering along side the other Exeter Phoenix supported films from the year.
For the second year running we will be hosting the 'Two Long Days - 48 Hour Film Challenge' and the 'Guerrilla Filmmaking workshop' as well as a new South West Screen funded event, the 'Media Mashup Conference'
where you can join film professionals in discussions, network with
other filmmakers from the region and watch more inspiring films from
the South West.
The premiere screening of the Phoenix Media Bursary Films has sold out
well in advance over previous years, so we strongly advise early
booking.
Networking event for everyon ein film industry. Presentation of this event on the UCLA Campus does not imply or represent endorsement by UCLA or the Regents of the UC regarding content, programming, materials or associated organizations.
Showcasing a younger generation`s skill at filmmaking. Submissions are accepted from people ages 25 and under.

The UMEC Short Film Festival showcases the talents of Michigan filmmakers. Any short film that had a U of M student or alum serve in a key creative capacity (e.g., writer, director, prod., actor, composer, editor, d.p.) is eligible.
