Amélie prix du public à TorontoLe Fabuleux Destin d'Amélie Poulain confirme son potentiel international. Le film de Jean-Pierre Jeunet a en effet remporté le Prix du Public du Festival de Toronto. Ce prix est le plus important de ce festival non compétitif et Amelie from Montmartre, comme on le nomme à l'étranger, a devancé aux votes le Lion d'Or du dernier festival de Venise Moonson Wedding de Mira Nair. L'année dernière, c'était Tigre et Dragon d'Ang Lee qui avait remporté ce prix, se trouvant ainsi placé sur orbite pour les oscars. La fabuleuse carrière d'Amélie à l'étranger ne fait donc que commencer. |
