Chow Yun-fat emporté par la romance

La star de Tigre et Dragon et de The Killer, Chow
Yun-fat jouera prochainement dans un drame romantique, Waiting, réalisé
par Peter Chan pour sa compagnie Applause Pictures. Chow interprètera
un médecin de l'armée chinoise qui tombe amoureux d'une femme
pendant la Révolution culturelle mais devra attendre 18 ans avant de
la retrouver. Le film est estimé à 15 millions de dollars, "un
budget digne de Hollywood" a déclaré le vice-président
d'Applause Allan Fung. Le tournage de Waiting est prévu pour l'automne
et Fung a déclaré qu'il était en discussion avec plusieurs
studios américains pour la distribution.
