The Cine Las Americas International Film Festival, now in its tenth year, showcases contemporary films from North, Central, South America and the Caribbean. Works made by or about Latinos and indigenous groups of the Americas are eligible to participate.
The aim of the CineEco’2003 is to promote the Natural, Ecological and Cultural values, as well as the promotion of Serra da Estrela heritage and touristic richness.
The works should be presented to the competition until 21st August 2003.
The 7th Annual Cine Noir: A Festival of Black Film will be held March 13-16,2008, in Wilmington, NC. The entry fee is $25. Prizes of $500 will be awarded in each category. Deadline is January 31, 2008. More info at www.blackartsalliance.org.
