The Beaux Arts festival in San Diego presents the second annual San Diego Short Film Exhibition. We will be exhibiting short films by independent filmmakers from all over the world.

BEC has its roots in the independent filmmaking scene. The Festival first took place in 04.It has always been the Festival’s aim to rise to the challenge presented by new developments and changing parameters in technology, society, and aesthetics.
Rooted in visual anthropology, the festival screens documentaries on various (sub-)cultures in a format combining screenings, discussions and seminars. It offers a meeting place for filmmakers and audiences from different cultural backgrounds.
