About the Director:

Johan A Kruger is a South African born British film maker. Trained
stage manager, prop maker, Decor painter and Make-up Artist.

Johan's first foray in directing was an environmental Youth Theater
production. He worked hand in hand with the kids to develop their
script and create all costumes and props. His group went on to win
national trophy for their age group.

Around
the release of scream 2, Johan made his first short film on a borrowed
hi-8 vhs camera. He used a video machine / camera combination to edit
the film and overlaid the soundtrack by taking a sound editing suite
for a "test drive".

Shadows of the night
won him the Ster Kinikor Scream 2 horror challenge crown and the prize
money was enough to re-locate him to England.

Since
his settlement in England he has traveled the width and breadth of
europe and has worked in numerous creative based roles to put a roof
over his head.

Although film making was
never his primary focus he kept finding himself drawn back towards the
craft, working on pilot tv shows and short films in his spare time.

In
2008 all the pieces finally fell into place and Johan started to devote
more time to film making. Towards the middle of 2008 he started his
most ambitious project to date, Writing, producing and Directing Zombie
Office.

Zombie Office quickly grew in scope
and was successfully wrapped in October, a mere 3 months after the
initial script was written. Zombie Office is currently in
Post-Production and is set for release in March.

2009
is set to be a busy year, Zombie Office will be doing the festival
route. Pre-Production has started on his next short. A number of
supporting films for Zombie Office will be release throughout the year
some of which can be seen on youtube
and he hopes to complete the irst series of 'The adventures of Jason's
cuz Mason' and Daucus Carrote - The bunny chronicles (in association
with Sapere Aude, ETC films and Ascetion Media )
