Michigan
The Ferndale Film Festival, Sept 3-7 2009. F3 will include several screens dotted about the city, Drive-In theatres, workshops, exhibitions, and more.
The 2nd Annual DWIFF takes place on June 25-28, 2009. Held in Detroit's University Cultural Center and at the University of Windsor, Ontario, Canada. We'll host activities throughout the region, with a focus on downtown Detroit and the talented people and technology we offer the film and media production industries.
We are presenting long features and short movies coming from French speaking countries (Quebec, North Africa, Haiti........)
We are organizing a student-run/student-done statewide film and art festival for high school and college students in the state of Michigan.

Thriller! Chiller! is Michigan's premier film festival celebrating the genre movie. We screen the best in world cinema in the genres of sci-fi, action, suspense, and horror. We want to discover those filmmakers who are inspired to tell us a story. And we promise our audience a really good time. We didn't invent going to the movies, we just made going to the movies fun again. So send us your best shot. We're listening.
The Waterfront Film Festival offers a unique and festive artists retreat fostering an
exchange of ideas, discovering films, and providing for a FANTASTIC time in the lively
summer resort village of Saugatuck, Michigan.
The UMEC Short Film Festival showcases the talents of Michigan filmmakers. Any short film that had a U of M student or alum serve in a key creative capacity (e.g., writer, director, prod., actor, composer, editor, d.p.) is eligible.
The Second Annual DWIFF celebrates our passion for film and promotes the production resources from Michigan's creative community. Juried events will take place at venues throughout Detroit's University Cultural Center, including Wayne State University, College for Creative Studies and the University of Windsor. The East Lansing Film Festival is the largest film festival in Michigan showcasing feature, documentary, short, and student films of all lengths.
