The Producers Guild of America will host the Producers Challenge contest, giving short film and webisode producers ultimate access to top professionals and the opportunity to win exceptional prizes. The 2nd Annual DWIFF takes place on June 25-28, 2009.  Held in Detroit's University Cultural Center and at the University of Windsor, Ontario, Canada.  We'll host activities throughout the region, with a focus on downtown Detroit and the talented people and technology we offer the film and media production industries.

The 9th annual festival will be held from May 1-3 for three days of short films, socializing and great prizes. There will be a $1000 grand prize for best short, as well as individual category prizes.

Short films of any genre are accepted and must be 41 minutes in length or less. Submissions must be made on NTSC DVD or VHS. Submission deadlines are as follows:
