More than 7,000 delegates, sponsors, and exhibitors from all around the world participated. 2011 New York Cloud Computing BOOTCAMP Session “Connecting the Dots” commenced Tuesday, June 7, 2:10pm. This powerful session with speaker Larry Carvalho, RobustCloud, LLC, introduced strategies to develop cloud computing to your business needs. Carvalho discussed the 500k websites by cloud providers (groupon.com) and cloud security (McAfee.com). Information technologists, product managers, wireless executives, industry executives, software and network engineers attended this highly informative session.

2011 New York Cloud Computing Demo Theater Session “OxygenCloud Overview with Aaron Henretty,“ commenced Tuesday, June 7, 4:00pm, in the exhibitors show floor. Henretty discussed advantages of employee desktop integration and architecture file storage systems for public and private clouds.

2011 New York Cloud Computing Demo Theater Session “Cloud Security Platform Overview with Melissa Siems,” commenced Tuesday, June 7, 4:40pm, in the exhibitors show floor. Director of marketing Melissa Siems for McAfee introduced the Cloud Security Platform, a comprehensive unified security suite of products in partnership with Intel.

2011 New York Cloud Computing Demo Theater Session “Cloud Management Overview with Michael Crandell,” commenced Tuesday, June 7, 5:00pm, in the exhibitors show floor. RightScale CEO and founder Michael Crandell introduced RighScale's cloud data center infrastructure and discussed a top company (American Girl Doll) running on RightScale.

2011 New York Cloud Computing Demo Theater Session “CloudStack and MyCloud Overview with Peder Ulander,” commenced Tuesday, June 7, 5:20pm, in the exhibitors show floor. Chief marketing officer Peder Ulander for Cloud.com discussed CloudStack, an opensource web application services (similar to Amazon web services) with templates and hosting solutions for public and private Clouds; and MyCloud launched with RightScale, a web server conversion application to a private cloud server.
