Encountering the person Akio Suzuki or his work is a kind of initiatory, mischievous trip.
He was born in Japan about 60 years ago and was invited by some of my crazy friends, members of the association "Le Sentier des lauzes" (The stone roof trail), to stay in a valley of the Ardèche Cevennes. There, as a true craftsman and in his own way, he created a set of places related to sounds and time, to paths and hills.
Akio takes us along to explore his off-kilter dream that is far away from any déjà-vu, power, mainstream productions or expectations. It is a journey, an introduction to another way of listening to the world.
