COMRADES IN DREAMS by Uli Gaulke (producer: Flying Moon Filmproduktion/Potsdam) can be seen in the World Cinema Competition - Documentaries section at the most important North American festival for the independent scene, the Sundance International Film Festival. In addition, two more German-international co-productions will be screened in the World Cinema Competition - Dramatic section, the German-Belgian co-production KHADAK by Jessica Woodworth and Peter Brosens (German co-producer: MA.JA.DE/Leipzig) and the Israelian-German co-production SWEET MUD by Dror Shaol (German-coproducer: Heimatfilm/Cologne).
The festival will be taking place in Park City, USA from 18 to 28 January, 2007. It is organised by the Sundance Institute which was founded in 1981 by Robert Redford. The festival is held in high regard as a springboard for newcomer directors and as a very good marketing and PR platform for the participating films.
