The 27th Annual Louis Vuitton Hawaii International Film Festival (HIFF), the premier international film event in the Pacific, announced its 2007 audience award winning films tonight before its closing night film.
Throughout the festival ballots were distributed for the first screening in Honolulu of every eligible film. The following films were chosen by audience members as their favorites:
• FAVORITE NARRATIVE FEATURE is A LOVE, directed by Kyung-Taek Kwak who received HIFF’s ACHIEVEMENT IN DIRECTING award earlier this week.
• FAVORITE DOCUMENTARY FEATURE is BEAUTIFUL SON, directed by Don and Julianne King.
• FAVORITE SHORT film is VALIDATION, directed by Kurt Kuenne.
