ÉCU-ON-THE-ROAD IS HEADING TO ÅRHUS – THE EUROPEAN CAPITAL OF CULTURE 2017
ÉCU – The European Independent Film Festival will be screening a selection of the World’s best independent short films at Super8000 Film Festival on the 27th October 2017 in Århus, Denmark. The Super8000 festival and The European Independent Film Festival’s – Special Selection screening will take place and in the warm and welcoming atmosphere of art cinema East of Eden at Paradisgade 7 in Århus and starts at 19:00.
We are screening 8 short films from 5 countries with several of them being award-winning: STANDBY by Charlotte Regan (winner of Excellence in Women’s Filmmaking 2017), HORSEFACE by Marc Martínez Jordán (winner of Best European Independent Dramatic Short Film 2016), THE WAY OF TEA by Marc Fouchard (Special Jury Mention 2016) and DISCIPLINE by Christophe M. Saber (Winner of Best European Independent Comedy Film 2016).
Along with the screening, President of ÉCU – The European Independent Film Festival, Scott Hillier, is speaking at a panel discussion about recent movements and trends within European talent developmentin different countries on the 28th of October 2017.
