"Pooling", written/helmed by Dawn Westlake, and produced under her Ron de Cana Prods, Inc. shingle, will have its NYC premiere with Dance On Camera Film Festival in their 47th annual event at Lincoln Center on July 15th at 6pm. "Pooling" features the choreography and dancing of Marc Carrizo Vilarroig of world-renowned Barcelona-based troupe Brodas Bros. He dances to a score composed at his direction by Joan Armand Forero of Praxiz. The film was shot and edited by Pol Carrizo Vilarroig of Imatge Barcelona. Pol also did the extensive visual effects. The opening and closing animation pieces were done by Dismas & GrissyG Lizarraga of GrisDismation in the Los Angeles area.
Dance on Camera is the longest-running dance film festival in the world. Its 2019 dates are July 12-15 at Walter Reade Theater at Lincoln Center, 165 W. 65th Street, NYC.
