A poetic film over the bio of Anna Akhmatova. The script is based at English and French poetic translations from Akhmatova, by Anna Polibina-Polansky.
The film took a prize of rdff on Manhattan in 2012 and was screened in Domodedovo, Taormina, Eupatoria - Akhmatova's basic spots. After demonstration of tge film nearby Sicilia, Akhmatova's official barelief tgere was eventually opened.
Anna Polibina-Polansky received her diploma "For Genre Debut" in Tribeca Cinemas, Manhattan, from the hands of Ernst Neizvestniy, Leonid Parfyonov and John Alpert. Afterwards, the diploma was repearedly handled to Anna Polibina-Polansky, at the core of Moscow, at her chair of musical theater, in GITIS, a large theatrical university where Anna Polibina-Polansky teaches drama and up filmed poetry.
Anna also films up plots of the silver age - Slavonic symbolism and modernism in poetry and prose. The circle of Akhmatova and Brodsky - is highly meaningful at this row of themes.
Tge shots from this film ornated basic highways of New York, as postards, back in 2012. The city of Akhmatova's youth, Eupatoria in the Western Crimea, greeted the screening of this film (at presence of Anna Polibina-Polansky, the film's creator) back in 2018. Eupatoria is also the spot of the adolescent years if Anna Polibina-Polansky, Akhmatova's versified translator into European tongues.
