The Deauville Green Awards is the first international festival of corporate and TV films on ecology and sustainable development. Created in 2011 by the French association Un Écran pour la planète (A Screen for the planet), this event aims at rewarding productions by players in the audio-visual communication industry who make a commitment to ecology and sustainable development.
Strangelove Filmfest is a yearly event in Antwerp where the public will be taken into the underbelly of cinema. ‘Strange’, ‘cult’, ‘weird’ and ‘gender’ are the terms used to define a story. The festival offers a very rich choice of movies, shorts, documentaries and classics from Queer Cinema. A treat for the movie lover!
First and foremost a film festival, Strangelove does also offer a tasty platter of music, performance and visual art. Every evening we serve smiles and food (volxkeuken) in the bar where you can sit back and enjoy some gigs, video-installations, theatre, expositions or performances. This unique combination serves a broad spectrum of culture lovers who adore surprises. An invigorating festival for everyone!
This festival is an initiative of Interzone vzw who stimulate and spread audiovisual art.
