AFM 2013 Producers Forum

The AFM Producers Forum is a new program, exclusively for experienced producers from around the world, to learn and network at the AFM. The AFM Producers Forum is hosted – there is no additional cost to participate – but participation is limited to 350 producers.

AFM Producers Forum participants will receive the following benefits:

  • Access to 16 AFM Producers Forum educational sessions.  Experts and global thought leaders will speak on a wide range of topics that may include co-productions in China and India, working with sales agents, production incentives, working with U.S. guilds, etc. Four concurrent sessions will be held daily, Saturday – Tuesday, Nov 9 – 12, 4:00 - 5:00pm.
  • Invitation to the Producers Forum receptions.  Participants will enjoy drinks and appetizers while connecting with old friends and making new contacts. These exclusive evening events are held Saturday – Tuesday, 5:00 - 7:00pm, following the educational sessions.
  • Invitation to the AFM’s Location Expo reception. Hosted by the AFM and Film Commissioners from around the world.
  • Studio Tour – Paramount, Warner Bros & Fox. See first-hand what is available for future productions. This all-day private tour is only open to AFM Producer Forum participants, will take place on Wednesday, November 13, is limited to 40 people, and the cost for this event only is $95.00.
  • AFM sponsors that are hosting receptions are encouraged to invite AFM Producers Forum participants to their events. They will be provided with a full contact list of Forum participants.

Participation in the AFM Producers Forum is open to all experienced producers (see definition below), until the Forum is full, who purchase one of the following badges:  Platinum PassExecutive Pass, Executive Pass-Plus,Industry Pass-Plus, Buyer Badge  or Buyer Badge-Plus.  There is no additional cost.  Participation is not available to holders of an Exhibitor Pass, a three-day Industry Pass, or one-day Show Floor Day Pass.

AFM Producers Forum participants must have an individual credit as a ProducerCo-Producer or Executive Producer for a feature length film which meets ONE of the following criteria:

  • Commercially released in a theatre (in any country), or
  • Screened at a Film Festival (in any country), or
  • Broadcast on a national TV or cable network (in any country), or
  • Listed by a 2013 AFM distributor or sales agent in TheFilmCatalogue.com

Apply for the AFM Producers Forum by completing the form below.

  • Submissions may be made before or after AFM credentials are purchased.
  • Participation is not confirmed until credit and distribution are verified by the AFM Team and credentials are purchased.
  • Participants will be notified by email within 10 days of submission.

Register early. The 2013 AFM Producer Forum is limited to the first 350 confirmed participants and will close (without advance notice) when it reaches capacity. All activities of the Producers Forum will take place in English.
