Poetic films of the silver age

My poetic films of the silver age, Slavonic symbolism, represent a series of lyrical destinies. The Easterm branch of symbolism is rich and versatile. From the screen, I speak in verses of poets whose lifeline was complicated, intricate, bizarre. Akhmatova and Tsvetaeva, Mandelstam and Pasternak, Blok and Beliy, Nabokov and Poplavsky. Their literary characters and novellistic plots were oftern encountered by myself neraky everywhere in the continental Europe. I lived their poetry, prose and publicity, all through. Their bios are ones of tgeir very own, highly stylistical and bright. These are genuine celebrities of the written realm,  of the verbal world. They accompanied me in Europe, and my up filmed essays are my genre controbution to them. The wreaths of their genres and themes lead me through inner European plots and intrigues. I keep their stories, subjects, realias in my mind, and so I live in European countries; with their lifelines and plots, everywhere about. I venerate the silver age of poetry, novellism, publicity, through my own poetic scripts. I narrate their stories anew, at my own tonality, under my angle of viewing, at my metaphors and festure allegories. I watch the traits of protagonists through the prismatic glass of my experience of changing locations; I watch places with their eyes. Marceille and Lion were opened for me by Nabokovian characters and subjects. Paris is watched by myself in the eyes of Poplavsky, poet and clauchard, and in the eyes of luxurious, subtle Gazdanov. Blok and Beliy opened Basel for me, instead of Balsac. Tsvetaeva opened Alpine villages for me in schwartzwald. And so forth. I truly lived and stayed at those legendary places of Europe; my destiny granted me such chances. It is so grstifying for the lyric author like me, to watch his/her scripts all filmed up and duly screened; and I create and release such arthouse films, all by myself, at my author's precise version, at my very special genre and general intonation.

I am a screen essayist who tells anew,  all stories of symbolism. I reincarnate and restore the bios of Lorca and Machado, of Verlaine and Baudlaire, of Eloire and Dali, of Appaulinaire, of Antonia Pozzi, of Sexton and Pluth, of Dickinson and Emerson. Pre-symbolism, allegoric symbolism, formal but intricate postsymbolism are all meaningful for myself, as a screen author. My arthouse, self-invented key allows me to embody rare tonalities. My Monocineartstudio of Anna Polibina-Polansky, of non-budget social, artbiographical and documentary films, has existed for two decades of years, already.

Now Ivrarely visit Europe, only with my screenings and book autograph sessions, more rarely - with genre art expositions where my paintings in oil are exhibited to audiences. I work at my home lab outside of Moscow, abd sometimes I spend fruitful, laborious weeks at Moscow itself.

In order to invite me for a screening of my films, where I also freely habdle my poetic volumes to viewers, you ought to keep my co-ordinates refreshed. datteri@yandex.ru; +79296-605-605;  filmfestivals.com/blog/annapolibina; facebook.com/anna polibina
