Let’s not forget our local films that will be having their world premieres at the festival. This in and of itself is a major accomplishment for Aruba,” relayed an excited Aaron Hosé, AIFF’s Programming Director. “We really hope the public will visit the festival this year and support our local and international filmmakers. That’s what a film festival is all about… the opportunity to catch some important and rare films that aren’t usually in cinemas on the island. Plus you get to meet and rub elbows with some great film talent along the way. And we have a massive group of them this year… bigger than we’ve had in previous years. So we’re quite proud of that.” Tickets for AIFF 2013 will be available at the AIFF Info Point Office at Palm Beach Plaza Mall in a variety of price ranges, from a simple movie and industry event ticket for only AFL 10/USD 6, to special passes for multi–event attendance.
