Richard Gere speaks about Hachiko and AIFF

Just before the screening of Hachiko, Richard Gere opened by saying a few words about the AIFF. "You should be very proud because you've come to the very first Aruba International Film Festival and you can tell your children and your grandchildren and Im very proud ot be part of that." He was honored to open this festival with a film he felt especially close to and which he produced as well as acted in; Hachiko, the story of a dog's loyalty. He warned the audience to keep their kleenex ready for this touching film then thanked everyone for being there.
