25th Anniversary NY Jewish Film Festival How to Win Enemies Premiere

By Maria Esteves – January 25, 2016

The 25th Anniversary New York Jewish Film Festival 2016 (NYJFF16) N.Y. Premiere of HOW TO WIN ENEMIES (COMO GANAR ENEMIGOS), directed by Gabriel Lichtmann was held at the Walter Reade Theater, Thursday, January 21st followed by a Q&A session with director Lichtmann, moderated by digital marketing associate Alexander Hunt, Film Society of Lincoln Center.

Questions posed to Lichtmann by Hunt included: The film's book ended by a line how to win enemies by telling the truth. What that line means to you and where that came from? Why did you set out to create a film based on that structure, creating mystery? What filmmakers left a large impact on you growing up leading any influence on this kind of film? I'm curious about your intent towards the tone of the film.
