Directors Danny Gold and Matthew Asner documentary 100 Voices: A Journey Home opened at the AMC Empire 25 in New York, Wednesday, September 22, 2010. This compelling and passionate musical documentary pays tribute to 1,300 cantors who died during the Holocaust of World War II. The film takes you on a spiritual journey to Poland the birthplace of Jewish cantorial music exploring the history of Polish Jews before and after World War II. 100 Voices truly depicts the art and healing power of cantorial music. The film include conversations with Cantors Natham Lam, Jacob Mendelson, Ivor & Joel Lichterman, Arianne Brown, Faith Steinsnyder, Simon Spiro, David Propis, Alberto Mizhari, composer Charles Fox; live footage from the Cantors Assembly singing for the first time ever in June 2009 at the National Opera House in Warsaw, Nozyk Synagogue, Warsaw Ghetto, Krakow Cultural Jewish Festival, and prayer service from the infamous gates of Auschwitz.
