11th New York Intl Latino Film Festival

The 11th New York International Latino Film Festival (NYILFF’10) presented by HBO will commence July 27 - August 1, 2010 at the Clearview Cinemas Chelsea, and the School of Visual Arts Theatre, New York. The festival founded in 1998, assist emerging Latino filmmaker’s contribute to the world of cinema. This year’s Opening, Dominican, and Closing Night films are New York Premiere THE DRY LAND, directed by Ryan Piers Williams held at School of Visual Arts Theatre, Tuesday, July 27, 7:00 PM; World Premiere, TRÓPICO DE SANGRE (Tropic of Blood), directed by Juan Delancer held at Columbia University Alumni Auditorium, Thursday, July 29, 7:00 PM; and U.S. Premiere STOLEN DREAMS (Sohnos Roubados), directed by Sandra Werneck, held at School of Visual Arts Theatre, Saturday, July 31, 7:00 PM.  For more information, call or visit http://www.NYLatinoFilm.com.
