The 2nd International Cloud Computing & the th International Virtualization Conference & Exposition presented by SYS-CON Media were held at the Roosevelt Hotel, New York, March 30 - April 1, 2009. Cloud Computing Virtualization annually present global advancement in cloud computing networks, applications and interoperations for the internet technology enterprise.

This year's conference sponsored by IBM, Microsoft, AppSense, CA, ExactTarget, Sun Microsystems, 3Tera, Corporate Technologies, Virtera, Aria Systems, RightScale, Zeus Technology and Tranxition included keynote presentations, panel discussions, exhibit hall, training workshop, networking events and receptions.

2009 New York Cloud Computing Virtualization technical session "Open Source & Cloud Computing: Is There A Free Software Alternative?" was held at the Roosevelt Hotel, Wednesday, April 1, 3:45 pm. The extraordinary session with speaker Pau Garcia-Milà founder of the eyeOS Project, discussed and demonstrated the newest free open source Cloud Computing Operating System and Web Desktop eyeOS hosted in almost any web server. International Internet technology professionals, product managers, wireless executives, application engine developers, software and network engineers attended the successful session.

2009 New York Cloud Computing Virtualization technical session "Under the Hood of the App Engine Datastore" was held at the Roosevelt Hotel, Wednesday, April 1, 3:45 pm. The outstanding session with speaker Joe Gregorio, Developer Advocate App Engine, Google Enterprise, discussed the App Engine (business as a service Google web application plugin to define data models), process from data storage to building indexes to query execution and lastly the application design. International Internet technology professionals, product managers, wireless executives, relational database developers, software and network engineers attended the successful session.

This informative session with speaker Jeff Fisher Sr. director, strategic development, Desktone, Inc., explored cloud hosted desktops via desktops as a service (Daas) in a Windows environment, detailing data storage, security and cost.  International Internet technology professionals, product managers, wireless executives, app engine developers, software and network engineers attended the successful session.
