The CMJ 2011 Music Marathon and Film Festival will be held at venues throughout downtown New York, October 18-22, 2011. The College Music Journal (CMJ) festival annually presents the best in new music from around the world. This year’s festival will showcase over 1,300 artist performances, film premieres, panel discussions, seminars, awards ceremony, after parties, and special events. CMJ 2011 Entertainment Business Law Seminar in Association with the New York State Bar Association Entertainment Arts & Sports Law Section (EASL), sponsored by HSBC Bank will be held at New York University's Helen and Martin Kimmel Center, Friday, October 21, 2011. The all day accredited seminar includes Privacy in Social Media: Dealing with An Oxymoron, Unlocking Revenue Streams and keynote speakers founder/president Daniel Glass, Glassnote Entertainment Group, host Matt Pinfield, MTV's 120 Minutes.

CMJ 2011 Film Festival will showcase feature documentaries, narratives, and three shorts program at Clearview Chelsea Cinemas and the Soho House Screening Room (29-35 Ninth Ave, bet. West 13 & 14 St). This year, CMJ 2011 Film Fest opens with the premiere of Pearl Jam Twenty, directed by Cameron Crowe.
