GOLDEN PRAGUE COMPETITION SHORTLIST
 

21 music, dance and theatre programmes have been nominated to the second round of the Golden Prague International Television Festival. The 56th year Awards Ceremony will take place at The New Stage of the National Theatre in Prague on 28 September, 2019.

The list of 21 nominees (in alphabetical order) came out from the first round evaluation of a 5 member international Jury. According to the evaluation sheets, the TOP 21 programmes were selected to move through to the second round. In the second round, which takes place during the Golden Prague Festival, Jurors together watch the twenty selected programmes, judge them and decide on the prize-winners.

The Jury awards:

  •  The main prize of the Festival, GRAND PRIX GOLDEN PRAGUE, to the winning programme. This prize includes a financial award of EUR 10.000,-
  •  Three CZECH CRYSTALS to winning programmes in individual categories
  • SPECIAL MENTION for extraordinary artistic achievement

Additional awards:

  • The Director General of Czech TV awards the CZECH TELEVISION PRIZE
  • Dagmar and Václav Havel's Foundation VIZE 97 awards their PRIZE. It includes a financial award of CZK 50.000,-
