Which is Daniel Craig’s best James Bond film?Daniel Craig has now outed as Bond on four occasions, and he has certainly lived up to expectations in the role and with him personally been the Bond I’ve grown up with – he’s made be fall in love with the character and ensures I watched all previous Bond’s from the past. However, we want to see which is his best film and why; we delve deeper into that today.
Daniel Craig’s latest episode of in Spectre was a bit lack-lustre for our liking, starting well with good cinematography through Mexico City and Rome. Craig, potentially too old for the role now, still seems to be dating women who are young enough to be hit daughter and seems to be a film of contrasting views on where the films direction should go between drama and personalisation and then action an d big-money scenes. Not Bond’s finest work, and hopefully not his last as he deserves to go out with a bang. Casino Royal, my personal favourite of the four, bursting onto the scene and making a statement to say that the new Bond is here. Final scenes in the casino where he wins big and ends the night with arrogance really showed that Craig is up for the job. Skyfall was a huge spectacle when it was first released on the 50th anniversary of Bonds, and living up to them expectations was never going to be easy – but we believe Craig made it a success. Javier Bardem, the villain, was someone to be feared and had a real aura around him, and the main song written and performed by Adele was an incredible moment for not just the series but Britain in general. Ending the reign of Judi Dench as M, a beautiful end for a reign for her also. Skyfall – a great success. Finally, Quantum of Solace, the film that actually goes under the radar as one of Bond’s major winners from the four. Never has a Bond played a role better than he has here in our opinion – anrgy, annoyed and a serious drive with the force of knowing nothing will get in his way until he gets what he wants, a very impressive performance.
