Martin Scorsese Masterclass in Cannes

Dracula 3D sucks...(blood)

Why bother...

Why bother adding another filmed episode to Dracula's cult filmed myth...
Why bother making a film which is not a decent attempt to matching the recent standards of th eblood sucking stories brought to screen.

Prince of B Movie Dario Argento did not bring any single creative addition to the ymyth. (oh yes, except maybe for one animal transformation not even worth mentionning)

I worked with Copola's Dracula which was very faithful to Bram Stoker's book, but he did it with stunning style.
Dracula 3D has this cheap look of all Dario's films which could be funny if itwas funny, without any bit of second degree, humor etc...

I watched the film with this impression that the only reason to making the film was a marketing one: let's make a 3D film, even that bit did not deliver for a second. At least some past 3D versions in the 70's had some lungs popping out to your face, that was funny...None of that here.

Why bother getting in line past midnight to watch this? I dont know honestly.

Besides Rutger Huaer, none of the acting performances are simply honest.

Dracula sucks, what did you expect!
