The star-studded cast of the Expendables 3 promoted their film in Cannes earlier this morning, driving down the glitzy La Croisette in Soviet-era tanks and jeeps. The vehicles could be seen driving around Cannes yesterday after they arrived, leading to much buzz about their purpose. While they may stand out from the typical Rolls Royces and Ferraris that line Cannes' streets during the festival, it was a sight to be seen around 10:45. 

Those driving in style included Mel Gibson, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Harrison Ford, Kelsey Grammar, Sly Stallone, Wesley Snipes, Jason Statham, and Antonio Banderas.

This sort of spontaneous display is somewhat typical during the film festival, as finding excitement is almost as easy as finding a celebrity walking into the Palais. While The Expendables 3 is not be showing at the festival, the stars certainly created a buzz for the film in Cannes this morning.
