EUROPEAN GENRE FORUM - JUNE 15

EGF is aimed at European directors developing their first or second feature length genre film project with an established producer attached. Participants should previously have directed/produced at least one short film that has been screened internationally. The extended deadline for submissions in June 15.

Genre films and related genres include horror, science fiction, fantasy, anime, dark thrillers, dark comedies, mystery, adventure and martial arts as well as TV series. Documentaries with a focus on genre film can also be considered.

Eight projects will be selected and the participants will attend all talent labs.

BALTIC EVENT COPRODUCTION MARKET - JUNE 30

Submissions are now open for the Baltic Event Co-Production Market, the largest international co-production market in Northern Europe, held since 2005. Rather than an autumn deadline, projects must be submitted by 30 June 2022.

Baltic Event Co-Production Market is the meeting place for feature films in development looking for co-producers, financiers and sales agents. Over 350 pre-arranged meetings are held in November with the international decision-makers who have made Tallinn their yearly stopover.

Script Pool Tallinn, a part of the Future to Film programme, is lookíng for international film projects with the team behind - director, scriptwriter and producer. The aim is to gather film projects with high distribution value in the final stage of development. Focusing on the script and the overall project presentation, the 5 selected projects and their teams will be partnered with international industry decision-makers (sales agents, financiers and co-producers) whose contribution will increase their sales and distribution potential.

The last date to send in your application is 15 July 2022.

All three festivals are now accepting film submissions, which can be submitted via FilmFreeway. The main festival’s programme includes four competitive sections this year - Official Selection, First Feature Competition, Baltic Film Competition and Rebels with a Cause - and various non-competitive sections for feature films. PÖFF Shorts and Just Film also feature several international competition programmes of their own.
