CinemaChile is the public-private sector brand responsible for promotion and diffusion of Chilean audiovisual production in the world. It was created in 2009 by the Film and Television Producer’s Union Association (APCT) and ProChile, under the program “Sector Brands”.

AGOSTO Cine, based in Santiago de Chile, is a production company founded in 2017 by three young filmmakers. Our short films include “I’m Still Here” (HotDocs 2017), “SNAP” (Clermont Ferrand 2018) and “The Summer of the Electric Lion” (Cinéfondation Cannes 2018). We develop innovative, author-driven projects that explore cinematographic language in todays contemporary world. Currently we are working on the first feature films by the directors Felipe Elgueta, Diego Céspedes and Nicolás Guzmán.
