After a few years having worked within the financial markets tumult, Jean Servagnat, owner of the Maison Croix d’Irval, decided to built his own family business in Champagne. He presents, below, his history.

Our family has been established for many generations in Champagne, on the Montagne de Reims area, in the heart of  1st growth appellation (Premier Cru), ideal terroir to elaborate exceptional wines. The history of Irval dates back to the fourteenth century and the crusades, when brave warriors, before leaving, erected a cross on the place called Irval, about 15 kilometers from the vineyards. The cross, a symbol of openness to the world in an exceptional place, perfectly represents the values of our Maison.

Made in the pure Champagne tradition, our champagne accurately reflects the game’s key players : pinot meunier gives a fruity accent, chardonnay and pinot noir bring delicacy, complexity and full body to the products.

Film festivals, including Cannes, are places where the art of living, the quality of actors and directors, as well as excellence of all kinds are at their peak. Maison Croix d’Irval, very attached to these values, is a natural partner.
