Coming this May to the prestigious 66th Cannes Film Festival’s Short Film Corner is Bradley Cooper, or is it...

comedic short that was conceived at the 65th Cannes Film Festival returns to be part of the Court de Metrage: Merci Beaucoup Bradley Cooper.

Merci Beaucoup Bradley Cooper is a comedic short film about the power of fame and the determination of an aspiring actress named Barbara. When Barbara, played by Anne-Christine Caro, stumbles upon what truly could be Bradley Cooper’s Doppelganger, Nicolas-Henri Bozzi, she hatches a plan on how to launch her career: make an appearance at Cannes. The two become a power couple and take the 65th Cannes Film Festival by storm, soaking in all of the media attention and fans galore giving Barbara the break she’s been longing for.

Since its release, Merci Beaucoup Bradley Cooper has already been featured at several film festivals such as Garden State Film Festival, Newport Beach Film Festival, Sonoma International Film Festival. It won the Garden State Film Festival and is now making its way back to its birthplace, Cannes.

Director and star, Anne-Christine Caro, combines her life experiences as an actress, singer, and writer with her character and fuses the reality and fiction in her short creation. This isn’t Nicolas Henri Bozzi’s, a realtor, first fifteen minutes of fame. He regularly receives attention from strangers who confuse him for the American actor: he is often gifted bottles of champagne and invitations to parties. Finally, he embraces the role he was meant to play: Bradley Cooper.
