FROM ON HIGH to play 21st Religion Today Festival in October!FROM ON HIGH has been selected to the 21st annual Religion Today Festival in Trento, Italy for October 4-11, 2018. Written and helmed by Dawn Westlake and produced under her Ron de Cana Productions shingle, the film is about a Syrian refugee girl who finds a better life in Europe. FROM ON HIGH was filmed on location in Barcelona, Collsuspina and La Sala de Sant Llogari, Catalunya, Spain by Pol Carrizo Vilarroig of Imatge Barcelona. He is the winner of the 2018 Carpine d'Argento Award for BEST CINEMATOGRAPHY for this film. An original musical score was composed by GC Johnson of Acoustic Labs. Johnson was a 2016 Peer Raben Music Award nominee for "Through the Pane", a short film collaboration with Westlake in 2015. FROM ON HIGH marks the professional acting debut of 11-year-olds Zoe Pinell Lopez and Esteve Serra Coll.
