SCRAPPY has been selected to Festival Un Film Per La Pace in Gorizia, Italy for March 8th, 2018. Based on the Studs Terkel Award-winning poem by Donald G. Westlake, "Scrappy" was adapted for the screen and helmed by his daughter, Dawn Westlake. The film was shot on location in Pine Mountain, CA and Les Quingles near Barcelona, Spain in 2016 by Pol Carrizo Vilarroig of Imatge Barcelona who also edited. An original score was provided by GC Johnson of Acoustic Labs, the 2016 Peer Raben Music Award nominee.

"Scrappy" marks the professional acting debut of 5-yr-old Nefertina Lizarraga and her dog, Kong (in the titular role of SCRAPPY).
