WATCH THE OFFICIAL SELECTION PRESENTATION VIDEO IN FULL HERE (INCLUDING THE 40 FILMS NOMINATED)

These documentaries are competing for an Award at the Bangkok international documentary awards and film festival (BKK DOC) that will take place from 17 to 20 of December 2020 at the Goethe-Institut in Bangkok, Thailand.

Entrance is free but booking is required to optimize the seating plan. This is the link to Book

This official selection is the result of the humongous work of our selection committee and international jury who have watched and reflected upon the many hours of documentaries in competition.

BKK DOC Jury members come from 14 countries and represent a large diversity of experiences, views, opinions and approaches to the art of Documentary.

BKK DOC mission is to bring forward the works of documentary filmmakers and bring to light the matters they believe we should know about what is happening around the world.

Opinions reflected are not necessarily ours but we believe in diversity equality and freedom of expression.

I hope you will enjoy the Official Selection and hope to see you soon at the Festival or online.

Documentary yours,

Stephane Lambert
Festival Founder
