With a record attendance of 19,400, 185 films from around the world shown and special guest like Jaime Camil and Benjanim Bratt, the 2010 San Diego Latino Film Festival was one of the best to date.

Designed by local artist Lizet Benrey, the Premio Corazon is awarded to the festivals best films. The 17th annual San Diego Latino Film Festival, in conjunction with the Media Arts Center San Diego, is proud to announce this years Premio Corazon Award winners:

**Best Animated Short: La Dama y La Muerte
**National University Best Student Film: El Paraiso de Lili
**Best Youth Film: Danilo Goes to Joshua Tree
**SanDiego.com Best Local Film: Medellin, Como Te Convierto en un Objeto?
**Best Animated Feature: Nikte
**Best Experimental Film: Notes On the Other
