Iroquois Thanksgiving ceremony. Everyone’s in the circle.

8:30 One Day at a Time Filmmaker Jennifer Horn

documents Aunt Christine whose upbeat spirit takes a new spin

on an otherwise sinister scenario. Everyday, she battles to stay

alive waiting for a more hopeful future. Q & A’s.



9:15 Butterfly An artist metaphorically lets go by releasing

butterflies made from personal memorabilia, letting go of old,

artificial notions of a romanticized past.



9:30 Green Tara Tibetan Buddhists offer teachings through

ceremony, philosophy, theatre and sand painting. A monk talks

openly about altered states and sexuality. Filmed at WAAM,

2PM The Telling Takes Me Home Music and memory

tell the story of Guy and Candie Carawan, activists and folk singers

who have carried their work from the Deep South of the Civil Rights

Movement into today’s daunting struggle for peace and environment.

2:29 Timmy & Mr. Science: Anbushian PM An animated short
on G.W. Bush that’s too silly for words. Local filmmaker uses
puppets to capture the President’s personal views. For over 35
years, Steven Gottlieb has produced TV shows and award winning
stage plays for adults. Q & A’s will follow the last Mr. Science short.



2:30 When I Was Three This Flash based animated

series are cartoons focused on childhood memories. While the three

shorts are about a friend, mountain climbing and Barbie Dolls, we’ll

recall our childhood points of view. Marianne Petit is an animator

living in NYC where she also teaches the arts at NYU. Q&A’s



2:53 Timmy & Mr. Science: Energy Saver With electricity
being such a hot issue this short is a hot tamale.


2:55 Getting Lucky An uplifting, funny and even

touching film about a woman and her search to find true love through

an Internet dating service. Along the way, she meets quirky suitors.

Writer/producer Stacy Marr won Best Acting at the Texas Independent

International Film Festival.



3:15 Timmy & Mr. Science: Investigates Cigarettes Travel through
the body organs of Uncle Peter in a tiny rocket-ship and see what smokes do!
