“The huge treasure of documentaries on various topics from Films Division is a guiding force for all research scholars, film makers, and film goers from all over the world. This archive of 8000 plus films can run a separate Television Channel, Government must plan on introducing it immediately, which is a need of the time for the growth of documentary film movement in India.” Said Dr. Jabbar Patel, a leading film maker, at the opening of “Behind the Frame” who was amongst the guests of honor.

Enthused by the press showered by IFFI delegates last year for the hugely successful exhibition of cinema equipments, “Behind The Frames” Mr. Kuldeep Sinha and his most active staff of Films Division of Govt of India is set to treat all delegates of IFFI-08 at Goa, with a bouquet of selected documentaries on Goa, Indian art & heritage and holding a special package of films on world war II, “The Framing Time” will also have a photo-exhibition on the journey of films Division which is celebrating its diamond jubilee this year.

In this package of “Behind the Frame” Films Division will screen 68 select films under which “Why We Fight” series with actual footage of World War II is a major highlight of the program.

The package was inaugurated here during IFFI with lighting an auspicious lamp by Ms. Sushma Singh, Secretary of Information & Broadcasting Ministry of Govt of India.
