AMAL‘06 , the International Euro-Arab Film Festival

The Araguaney Foundation is honoured to present you the 3rd edition of AMAL‘06 , the International Euro-Arab Film Festival, that will take place from the 20th to the 26th of October in Santiago de Compostela, Spain.

This year’s official selection comprises 35 films: 27 films on the official selection: 12 short films, 11 documentaries and 4 long feature films plus other 8 invited films that will be screened. Please find attached a file with the list of the selected films.

The exhibited films come from a wide range of countries such as Egypt, Turkey, Iran, Syria, Morocco, Qatar, Lebanon, Palestina, Tunisia, Holland, France, Italy, US, UK and Spain. These films will compete for the prizes of: best long feature film, best actor, best actress, best director, best script, best documentary and the special audience award.

AMAL International Euro-Arab Film Festival blossoms from the will of offering a different cinema that brings closer the audience to the current Arab reality and opens frontiers to future collaborations in the audiovisual field.
