On Wednesday August 15th, 2007, special guests attended an exclusive pre-festival celebration to kick-off the 3rd Annual Turks & Caicos International Film Festival. Over five hundred guests including A-list celebrities, athletes, and VIPs from the entertainment world enjoyed this incredible event in the heart of South Beach. This year’s event was co-hosted by James R. Kelly III and R. Donahue Peebles, venture capitalists and prominent South Beach residents.

The event will took place at a well-known Mediterranean-style 1920’s South Beach landmark, the historic Bath Club. Arriving guests were serenaded by the sounds live jazz, which will set the mood of the evening. Amidst elegant South Beach décor and tropical floral arrangements, guests relaxed in the Cigar Lounge, grand ballroom, outdoor patio, beautifully decorated plazas and pavilions. Guests mingled while enjoying delectable international hors d’oeuvres, cocktails, and view continuous footage of island images featuring last years’ festival highlights.

Guests of the event included Premier Michael Misick, First Lady LisaRaye McCoy Misick, Jasmine Guy, Terrence Duckette, Ruby Baker, Stefan Filey, football player Keith Byars, Chris Nunz from Miami Ink and Rolonda Watts.
